NAFCD 2013 Call for Nominations Closing Soon

This is the last week to submit your nominations for the NAFCD 2013-2014 Board of Directors, as well as the 2013 NAFCD Leadership in Action and Lifetime Achievement Awards. All three nomination processes represent opportunities to recognize leaders in the floor covering industry. Nominations will be accepted through September 6, 2013.

NAFCD Board of Directors
Serving on the NAFCD Board of Directors provides the opportunity to play a leadership role within the industry. Board members' roles are critical to the success of NAFCD. Supporting the continuous improvement of the association to ensure that programs and services are targeting the needs of the membership is essential to this role.

The Affordable Care Act's requirement that employers notify their employees of the health coverage options available to them in the new Health Insurance Marketplace (Exchanges) goes into effect on October 1, 2013. If you are an employer covered by the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), this new obligation applies to you.

To help you understand what this requires of you, NAW is pleased to make available for your use a new Regulatory Alert, "Employer Health Coverage Notification Requirement Set to Go Into Effect October 1, 2013." To view our Regulatory Alert, please go to here.

IMPORTANT NOTE: This Regulatory Alert is intended for general information purposes only. It does not, nor is it intended, to provide legal or other advice and is not intended to substitute or in any way mitigate the need for employers to obtain the guidance and counsel of their own human resources, health insurance, employee benefits and legal advisers.
