The workshop will take place on Wednesday, November 14th at 2:00am-4:30am and will include Roundtable Discussions.
A strong manufacturer/distributor working relationship has historically been something both parties strived to achieve.
One would assume that during tough economic times, strengthening these unique and valuable relationships would be a high priority for manufacturers and distributors alike. However, it appears as though some manufacturers and distributors are actually taking action that is resulting in higher levels of conflict and a reduction in the flow of information between the two parties.
Key Learning’s Include:
· In particular, participants will explore and discuss:
· What defines the manufacturer/distributor working relationship
· What’s causing conflict in today’s working relationships
· The positive and destructive aspects of this conflict
· What’s happening to working relationships in their respective industries
** Members will be asked to participate in a survey 2-3 months prior to convention.
Round Table Segment:
· What you can do to reduce conflict in working relationships
· How you can collectively increase sales
· How can improve communication
· What you can do to reduce waste and inefficiency
Robert Nadeau is the Managing Principal of the Industrial Performance Group, a company dedicated to helping manufacturers and distributors increase sales and improve profitability. As such, he has been responsible for the design and administration of a number of landmark studies on manufacturer/distributor working relationships. Robert is an internationally recognized author and speaker on the subject of sales/distribution channel management and manufacturer/distributor working relationships.
For the past twenty five years, Robert has been actively working with manufacturers and distributors throughout North and South America, Europe and Asia to help them achieve measurable business results by strengthening their working relationships.
