ONLINE EDUCATION FOR NAFCD MEMBERS AND

THEIR EMPLOYEES

 

NAFCD has partnered with Element K an online training and regulatory compliance firm to provide you and your employees a cost effective way to train your staff on business fundamentals, productivity, project management, computer software training and other business topics. The courses are short in duration (most under one hour) and include quizzes and certificates of completion where appropriate.  The program consists of thousands of topics divided into the following categories or libraries:

 

Here’s how the program works:

You as the administrator (company representative) registers your employees for one or more of the libraries. Complete the administrator form along with the employee whom you would like to participate in the program. 

The license for this employee is good for one year of the registration date of that employee (i.e. July 1, 2007 to July 1, 2008). The employee may take as many courses as they wish in that library for one set fee for the entire year!  

The administration form needs to be completed only once unless there is a change of address, new contact person, etc.  Complete a separate registration form for each employee as you register them. Course libraries range from $86.00 to $874.00 annually dependant upon which library(s) chosen. 

Employees can access these courses 24/7 anywhere and can review the courses as often as he/she wants. All that is needed is a PC or laptop and an email address for the employee.

Office Productivity English-Only - 441 Courses, 10,804 Topics
This library includes desktop operating systems and general office applications training (Microsoft Office, Windows, Lotus Smart Suite, and more).

Business Complete - 108 Courses, 1,784 Topics
This comprehensive library includes all Element K authored business courses with a diverse array of business, sales, and customer service skills and leadership training.  

Business Fundamentals - 37 Courses, 696 Topics
This library covers a broad range of business and soft skills topics for all levels of professionals. Training addresses professional development, customer-facing skills, and personal enrichment.

Networking and Operating Systems - 1,262 Courses and vLabs, 20,972 Topics
This library includes dominant server and operating systems courses including Microsoft®, Novell, Linux, Unix, and mainframe technologies (MCSA, MCSE, CNE, A+, i-Net+, Network+, Server+, LINUX and more).

Design and Media - 422 Courses, 8,448 Topics
The Design and Media library includes graphic art, design and media training from Adobe, Macromedia, Corel, Lotus, Quark, and Microsoft (Photoshop, Illustrator, PageMaker, Quark, InDesign and more).

Computer Professional - 2,351 Courses and vLabs, 39,510 Topics
The Computer Professional library includes the most comprehensive collection of IT training topics, such as Networking, OS, Programming, Web Development, Database, and Design courses.

Programming and Web Development - 417 Courses, 12,706 Topics
This library includes web application, scripts, and relational database courses (Java, Oracle, VB, Microsoft SQL Server, ASP, COBOL, HTML, XML and more).

Project Management - 40 Courses, 725 Topics
This library includes training to support the Project Management Institute's Project Management Professional® (PMP) Certification, CompTIA's Project+ Certification, and more.
